My wife, who is holding my sleeping son in front of her, and I ask the next clerk if there is a problem and how long this might take in any case. The clerk immediately looks at her screen then disappears to the back for what could have been 2-3 minutes. My wife, son, and I go to the desk and I ask to check in. We arrive at the check in at about 4:30 after the search for the front desk.
I called ahead to confirm the check-in time of 4pm, I would have liked a bit earlier but I figured this was the best they could do. I am a local resident so I am familiar with the River Rock complex but had never stayed at the Hotel. It was my son's Christening so this was the reception after the ceremony. We booked a penthouse suite to entertain guests we were having at The Buffet for dinner and also stay the night with my inlaws, wife, and 10 month old son.
